Cat Quest II is an action RPG filled with fun and well-humoured moments, featuring a colourful world and with a simple combat system and even if some sections can get repetitive and there's not much to do after the main campaign is over, this is an overall relaxing and welcome game that only adds another fun option to the Nintendo Switch catalogue. It’s simple and effective, and doesn’t try to overwhelm the player with a massive backlog of information. The plot is simple and easy to follow, with the protagonist cat and dog being the usurped rulers of their respective kingdoms.
